We collect minimal information to provide our services:

• User ID: A unique identifier for your account
• Subscription Status: Information about your subscription plan and status
• AI Conversation Input: Text you submit when interacting with the AI Assistant so we can process your requests

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We respect your privacy and do NOT collect the following:

• Item data (names, descriptions, images, values)
• Personal belongings information
• Lending records
• Location data
• Contact information (except email for support)
• Device information beyond basic system requirements
• Usage analytics or tracking data

3. Data Storage

All your item data, images, and records are stored exclusively on your device. We do not have access to this information, and it is never transmitted to our servers.

4. How We Use Your Information

The limited information we collect is used solely for:

• Managing your subscription status
• Providing customer support
• Processing subscription payments through Apple's App Store
• Providing contextual responses in the AI Assistant when you engage in a conversation

5. AI Assistant & Conversational Interactions

When you use the AI Chat feature, your typed questions and responses are securely sent to our AI processing partners to generate helpful replies. We only transmit the minimum text necessary to fulfill your request. We do not send your photo library, item images, or other local data unless you explicitly include that information in your message.

Conversation logs are processed in real time and are not stored on our servers. You can clear your chat history in the app at any time.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store: For subscription management and payments
• Vision Recognition APIs: Images are processed temporarily for recognition purposes and are not stored by third parties
• AI Service Providers (OpenAI / Hugging Face): Process the AI Chat text you submit. They may temporarily cache data to deliver the response but do not use it to train their public models.

7. Age Requirement

CurioLink is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18 years of age.

8. Data Security

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you maintain full control over its security. We recommend using device-level security features such as passcodes and biometric authentication. AI chat requests are encrypted in transit using HTTPS.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete your account and all associated data at any time
• Export your data from the app
• Cancel your subscription at any time
• Contact us with privacy-related questions

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
